HONORING YOGA TRADITION

What is Tantra Yoga?

Non-Dual Tantra Yoga is a living tradition that invites you to recognize the sacred in all of life. This form of Yoga is a path of embodied awareness, where every breath, sensation, and experience becomes sacred ground for awakening to your true nature—that is, boundless presence. In tantra you turn toward the fullness of human experience—into the home of the radiant heart—remembering that you are already whole, luminous, and free.  Unlike common misunderstandings, traditional Tantra is not primarily about sexuality. While it includes all of life, it does contain practices on intimacy, which have been magnified and popularized in recent times—often referred to as Neo-Tantra. This modern interpretation has different goals and reflects only a fragment of the vast and nuanced original teachings and is not part of what we offer at our retreats.

Non-Dual Tantra Yoga is a life-affirming path of embodied awareness that honours all of existence as sacred, guiding you to

remember your true essence as already whole, radiant, and free.

Our practice of Tantra includes embodied movement (Āsana)

infused with breath, meditation and mantra, breathwork

(Prāṇāyāma) and subtle energy practices to awaken the inner

flow, contemplative teachings (Satsang) for direct transmission, sacred song (Kīrtan), self-inquiry, and devotional ritual (Pūjā). All practices aim to bring the body and mind into healthy balance and to unveil the recognition of your essence-nature.

We follow the lineages of Trika, Krama, and Sri Vidya within

the Shakti-Shiva traditions, which were written and passed

down through the Tantras (scriptures of wisdom). These teachings recognize Shakti—the immanent, dynamic, creative power and feminine principle—and Shiva—the transcendent, pure consciousness and masculine principle—as equally supreme: the  inseparable foundation of existence. As a radically inclusive—and at times transgressive — tradition, Tantra has long honored the feminine, giving rise to many revered female masters, such as the 64 Yoginīs. The world and every living expression of existence is celebrated as Her, the supreme Goddess. You’ll find Her on our altar as Parādevī — not as a distant external deity, but as a reminder that you are Her, and that you are everything that is.

At INEA•YOGA, we joyfully share this deeply devotional and life-affirming path of Tantra Yoga, which embraces all aspects of experience as sacred. This means there is no inherent wrongness or impurity you need to fix. You do not need to reject or escape the world, nor endlessly improve yourself. Rather, you are invited to fully relax into your already complete essence—that is, presence and love.

Non-Dual Tantra Yoga is a life-affirming path of embodied awareness that honours all of existence as sacred, guiding you to remember your true essence as already whole, radiant, and free.
